  Student Seminar on Indian Constitution


To make B.A(JMC) students aware about the history of making Indian Constitution, School of Journalism and Mass Communication organized a Student Seminar on October 7, 2017. In it, a discourse based on Constitution making was conducted. Also, a Documentary Series based on Constitution making directed by Shyam Benegal and produced by Rajya Sabha TV was screened. This activity was conducted as a Saturday club activity held at Seminar hall of School of Engineering.

In the beginning, Dr. Neeraj Khattri, HoD, School of Journalism and Mass Communication introduced the history of making Indian Constitution. Then, during this screening, 2 episodes of the series describing the events held in Indian assembly before Independence were exhibited.

After screening, budding Journalists had a discussion for various issues related to Constitution i.e. dynamics of making India and its Constitution, significant features of our Constitution, contemporary importance of it etc.

This Student Seminar was a productive session for budding Journalists to make themselves aware about various layers of Constitution making.

Workshop on Photography by Zee TV


Workshop on Photography by Zee TV Professional's 

 

School of Journalism and Mass Communication of JECRC University organized a special interactive session on TV production & Photography, conducted by Zee Studio Professionals. This Session was held in Seminar hall of Engineering Block on October 5, 2017.

The main objective of this program was to teach students the basics of photography and to make them aware about new dimensions of TV Production.
Programme Executive of Zee Studio Mr. Anish Verma, HR Official Ms. Paridhi Goswami and Senior Photographer Mr. Dinesh Sharma shared the present scenario of TV Industry. Then, Mr. Harshit Paliwal and Mr. Ashish Pasla presented a presentation based on the Basics of Photography i.e. Handling Video Equipments, Rule of Third, Telling a Photo Story, Aperture, ISO and Shutter Speed.

The whole program proved to be beneficial for the budding Photo Journalists. Before going, Zee Professionals asked students for the feedback and ensured internships to JU students in future.

QUIZ COMPETITION



                
 QUIZ COMPETITION ORGANISED IN JU

School of Journalism and Mass Communication organized a debate cum quiz competition based on Freedom Struggle on September 26, 2017 at Seminar hall, JECRC University, Jaipur.
Both, debate and quiz competition were judged by Dr. Neeraj Khattri, Dr. Amit Sharma and Mr. Shailendra Pratap Singh Bhati. Students of BA (JMC) I year and II year participated in the debate competition. Most of the students expressed their views in the support of Freedom Struggle: Still relevant. The winner, first runner up and second runner up of  the debate were Aditya Pareek, BA (JMC) II year, Reshu Sharma, BA (JMC) I year and Pooja Jangid, BA (JMC) I year respectively.

In quiz competition, all the students were divided into 7 teams. They were questioned about History of Freedom Struggle from 1857 to 1947. The winner team of the quiz competition was Team 7 consisting of all the students of BA (JMC) II year students.

This competition held to motivate the students to know about history of our freedom struggle and to build the confidence among them for public speaking. Some of them performed splendidly, expressed logically.

RADIO WORKSHOP







                          Workshop on Radio Program Production







School of Journalism and Mass Communication at JECRC University Jaipur organized a workshop on Radio Journalism and Production from September 07-08, 2017. Ms.Yogita Khurana and Mr. Rajeev Sharma shared major practical knowledge regarding Radio Production as workshop instructor.

Ms.Yogita delivering a monumental lecture stretching from the history and origins of radio to the contemporary scene of Commercial, Internet and Community Radio.  Mr.Rajeev Sharma who acquainted them with the most technical apparatus used in the process of radio production. Students implemented their theoretical learning of the first day into practical ideas on the second day. They came to know about Creative and technical skills of Radio Production.
